The title for this photo is adapted from a Toyota advert. The percentage of the population who drive in the UK is far, far lower than the percentage of the Dutch population that cycles. Dutch infrastructure is a great equaliser. Almost everyone in the Netherlands gets around on one form of cycle or another, and they all ride on the same network. This person is riding an electrically assisted trike. He shares the path with children, university students, housewives, company executives, royalty, pensioners, politicians, and of course many others, including myself.
